The following training activities will occur during the BranVectors project:
▪ Annual scientific meetings: these events (1-2 days) will be organised usually jointly with the ESGT meetings and will gather all researchers of the BranVectors consortium around selected topics generated by the research activities. The events will develop:
1) Gene therapy recent research issues in the world (the most important GT research results, recent achievements)
2) Training sessions based on BrainVectors achievements/results and secondments (the data collection and monitoring of transfer of knowledge will permit to prepare the training program for each meeting)
3) Themes on research management (project designing and management, IP management, entrepreneurship…) and career development will be developed both with modules delivered during the event and in the frame of the courses and coaching delivered by EASCO usually in the context of its training program (see below).
4) European Research Area issues, Research & Development in Europe today
All the lectures will be given by the scientists involved in the BrainVectors project.

▪ International workshops (5-7 days) will be organized bi-yearly in Paris area with the partnership of local organisations (such as the University of Evry, the Conseil Régional d'Ile-de-France, the AFM, Généthon, Genopole...) on the modern vectorology and the latest approaches of gene therapy and other biomedical applications of vectors and methods. These events will combine a symposium (plenary lectures, selected short communication and poster sessions) with a practical courses. A large audience of participants from outside the consortium will be fostered.

▪ Training on complementary skills All researchers of BrainVectors consoritum, especially the PhD students and post-doc who will acquire skills for developing their career, and all experienced researchers who want to implement their management skills and other transversal competences essential to convert research data into exploitable products and methods for medical applications. All them will benefit from the training that EASCO delivers throughout all the year by delivering modules as described in the section Training on career development and according to the scheme below:
